个人简介

葛悦禾 教授,2003年于澳大利亚麦考瑞大学获博士学位。2002年至2011年为澳大利亚麦考瑞研究员、讲师,现为华侨大学特聘教授。入选福建省“百人计划”、厦门市“双百计划”, 国家外专局引进海外高层次文教专家重点支持计划。主要研究方向为电磁场与电磁波理论、天线理论、电磁场数值技术、超构材料及其应用等。

Yuehe Ge  received the Ph.D. degree in electronics from Macquarie University, Australia, in 2003. From 1991 to 1999, he was an Antenna Engineer at Nanjing Marine Radar Institute, China. From 2002 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher, a research fellow and a lecturer with Macquarie University, Australia. Since 2011, he has been a Professor with the College of Information Science and Engineering in Huaqiao University, China. His research interests include machine learning applications in electromagnetics, antennas, and propagation, antenna theory and designs for radar and communication applications, computational electromagnetics and optimization methods, metamaterials and their applications. He has authored and co-authored over 180 journal and conference publications and 2 book chapters.

 

Professor Ge received several prestigious prizes from China State Shipbuilding Corporation and China Ship Research & Development Academy, due to his contributions to China State research projects. He received 2000 IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship Awards and 2002 Max Symons Memorial Prize of IEEE NSW Section, Australia, for the best student paper. He is the co-winner of 2004 Macquarie University Innovation Awards-Invention Disclosure Award.  He has served as a technical reviewer for over 10 international journals and conferences. Professor Ge is a member of the IEEE, the IEICE and the ACES.
