Dr. Qinlan Chen is a professor of Marketing Department and director of Marketing Management(and Behavior)Research Center and Women Research Center of Huaqiao University, College of Business Administration, Huaqiao University, China and a visiting Scholar of College of Health and Human Science and Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, USA. Her papers have appeared in Anthropologist(India), East-Asia Comments (Japan), and other Chinese scholarly notable journals, as well as accepted and presented by some international academic conferences, such as INFORMS Marketing Science Conference(ISMS), International Conference on Applications of Anthropology in Business, World Management Forum and Oriental Management International Forum, and China-Japan Economic Symposium. Her research interests include Marketing and Behavior, Gender, Branding and Strategy, Tourism/Service Industry, Supply Chain Management, Digital and Social Media Marketing.
Professor Chen has authored 70 peer-reviewed research papers including publishing in the journals of international SSCI and in other Chinese scholarly journals, such as CSSCI, China notable Journals. She has received 15 outstanding papers awards from China Marketing Association of University, China Information Economics Society, Fujian Marketing Association, Women's Federation of Fujian Province, and Fujian Federation of Trade Unions. She is the principal investigator or co-investigator for more than 30 grants and contracts. Professor Chen is the chief editor of the book Marketing (First and Second Edition), a chapter author in International Marketing, and an author of Demystifying Gender Roles in Service Marketing: Are Women More Effective? She serves as a referee for the Vocational Skills Competition of China's Commercial Industry, and a reviewer on planning projects of Social Science in the Ministry of Education, Fujian Province, and for several academic journals and conferences, such as Journal of Vacation Marketing, Asia Pacific Tourism Association Annual Conference (APTA), Chinese Journal of Management.She has organized and supervised students to win 29 awards in international, national, provincial and professional competitions. She is the executive editor of book "Her Power -- Quanzhou Women's Multi-Group Development Report". She is the chief editor of "Marketing" (First and second editions) and "New Media Marketing: Digital, Tools and Operations" (Forthcoming in 2022). Presided over “the compilation of quanzhou Women's Development and Children's Development Program (2021-2030).”
