Guo Tong, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, and Deputy Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Senior member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, Youth Worker Member of the Flow Control Branch of the Society of Mechanical Engineering, and Young Expert in Fluid Control Engineering of the Society of Mechanics. Mainly engaged in research in the fields of fluid transmission and control, high-performance robot drive components, and intelligent wellbore control technology. Presided over 8 scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Fujian Province, and the Open Fund of State Key Laboratory; Published over 20 academic papers, obtained over 40 Chinese invention patents, 3 US invention patents, and 2 PCT patents. From 2016 to 2019, I worked at the China Petroleum Science and Technology Research Institute as the project leader/deputy project leader, leading and participating in 5 key projects of PetroChina, and won 1 second prize for petroleum engineering professional papers from the China Petroleum Society.

In recent years, research has mainly focused on new methods and technologies such as high-performance hydraulic components controlled by pilot pressure, multiphase RV deceleration drive for robots, and low-power thermal mass flow detection. A series of achievements have been formed and have good prospects for industrial application.
