摘要：By referring to relevant literature, this paper gives a survey on competency from the perspective of its concept, models and so on. There are lots of research achievements in defining “competency” and exploring its models, which promote the wider application of competency, along with some limitations. Its future research lies in building theoretical models and carrying out empirical research, especially the empirical research on the relationship between competency and performance.
