Parallel Petri Nets and Digital Twins

The increasing number of resource units and operations in manufacturing systems, along with the complex competition logic between operations and resource units, has heightened the complexity of joint control problems. To address this, a transformation framework between Planning Domain Definition Language (PDDL) and Petri Nets has been developed. This framework facilitates the automatic construction of PDDL models that capture both the behavior and structure of manufacturing systems. Additionally, an automated platform for generating Petri Nets from PDDL has been developed, streamlining the translation and enhancing the efficiency of control and planning processes in manufacturing environments.
