谢友福,笔名“逸君”,自号“温陵书生”。中共华侨大学第六届委员会委员,英语副教授,泉州市高层次人才。TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)国际协会会员,福建省大学外语教学研究会副会长、泉州市翻译工作者协会常务理事。

1993年8月起在华侨大学工作。先后担任大学英语部主任,外国语学院副院长兼大学英语部主任。2010年9月至2012年6月在国际交流学院(现国际学院)工作,任副院长兼学校外事处副处长、港澳台侨事务办公室副主任,同时承担外国语学院教学科研工作。2012年7月至2020年8月在外国语学院任教,任学院党委书记、副院长,同时兼任国际交流合作处副处长、港澳台侨事务办公室副主任(为期一年半)。2020年9月至2024年9月任国际学院党委书记、副院长。2024年9月起在国际交流合作处工作,五级职员(正处级)。

任职以来,先后主持或参与省部级、国务院侨办、校级科研和教改课题20多项,其中,主持教育部大学英语教学改革项目于2008年入选全国大学英语教改示范点项目。正式发表或出版学术论文、编著、译著30多篇(部)。曾先后获得华侨大学“三育人”先进工作者、优秀共产党员、优秀教师、教学优秀特别奖、教学名师奖、优秀基层党务工作者和多项省级、校级优秀教学成果奖等荣誉称号和奖励,以及北京中教国际教育交流中心颁发的“突出贡献奖(2021年)”、“2023-2024年度《中美人才培养计划》121项目杰出贡献管理者”等荣誉称号。

在华侨大学任职以来,曾先后随同出访美国、英国、德国、比利时、法国、南非、新西兰、澳大利亚、柬埔寨等国家以及中国台湾地区有关高校和华侨华人社团。2010年7月,参加在美国波士顿举办的“TESOL国际学术研讨会”。2016年8月14日至25日,在美国杜克大学参加“高等教育管理与创新培训班”。曾多次在澳门特别行政区讲授本科生班《剑桥商务英语》课程和研究生班英语课程、开展招生宣传;多次参加学校在香港特别行政区的招生面试工作。

Robert Xie (XIE Youfu),  pen name "Yi Jun(Free man)", self-bestowed title "Wenling Scholar", associate professor of English, high-level talent of Quanzhou People's Municipal Government, member of the 6th CPC Committee of Huaqiao University. Member of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) International Association, vice president of Fujian University Foreign Languages Teaching and Research Association, executive director of Quanzhou Translators Association.

In my teaching career at Huaqiao University since August 1993, I have successively held offices in various positions: the director of the College English Department, vice dean of the College of Foreign Languages from July 1998 to August 2010. From September 2010 to June 2012, I worked at the College of International Exchange (now the International School) as vice dean and deputy director of HQU Foreign Affairs Office, deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, meanwhile doing teaching and research work at the College of Foreign Languages. From July 2012 to August 2020, I served as secretary of the Party Committee and vice dean of College of Foreign Languages. At the same time, I also served as deputy director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office (which lasted for one and a half years). From September 2020 to August 2024, I served as secretary of the Party Committee and vice dean of the International School. From September 2024, I have been working at the International Exchange and Cooperation Office as a senior staff.

Since working at Huaqiao University, I have chaired or participated in more than 20 scientific research and educational reform projects of various levels, among which I have chaired the College English Teaching Reform Project under China Ministry of Education (which was selected as a national demonstration project for college English teaching reform in 2008). In my academic and teaching researches, I have published more than 30 academic papers, compilations, and translation works. As a recognition of my efforts, I have successively won honorary titles and awards such as Model Educator, Excellent Communist Party Member, Outstanding Teacher, Special Award for Teaching Excellence, Famous Teacher Award, Outstanding College Party Affairs Worker from Huaqiao University, a number of provincial and school levels of outstanding teaching achievement awards, as well as honorary titles such as "Outstanding Contribution Award (2021)" and "Outstanding Contribution Manager of Sino-American CHEPD 1+2+1 Program for 2023-2024" awarded by China Centre for International Educational Exchange (CCIEE).

     Since my tenure in Huaqiao University, I have visited the universities and overseas Chinese associations in the U.S., the UK, Germany, Belgium, France, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Cambodia, as well as Taiwan of China. In July 2010, I attended the TESOL International Convention held in Boston, USA. From August 14th to 25th, 2016, I attended the "Higher Education Management and Innovation Workshop" at Duke University in the United States. Many a time, I have taught undergraduate courses of Cambridge Business English and graduate English courses and conducted recruitment campaigns in Macau SAR, and participated in HQU's recruitment interviews in Hong Kong SAR.

     My personal hobbies and interests: Chinese calligraphy, Chinese couplets, Chinese and English poetry, photography.

夜问:看破,还是看不破?

 

自从新冠肺炎疫情爆发,尤其是泉州欣佳酒店倒塌事件发生以后,不少人开始重提旧话:明天和意外,你永远不知道哪个会先来?

这个诘问不无道理。问题是,当你睡了一觉醒来,明天铁定到来,可是你永远也不知道意外啥时候来。当意外到来,你的明天也不复存在。

人的普遍缺点在于“好了伤疤忘了疼”。春风得意时,我们会忘乎所以;遭灾受难时,我们会禅心顿起。这似乎是永远难以协调的矛盾。毕竟,生活还要继续,谁也不能因为前路莫测而放弃希冀。我们总不能因为清晨目睹一丝阴霾,就收起今天应有的步态。

人生本来不易,所以要且行且珍惜。每一天都要善待自己,坦然迎接新的洗礼。把熏心利欲压一压,把精神状态抬一抬。说看破了,只是一句骗人的话;只要生活继续,我们就永远也看不破,因为没有多少人自甘寂寞。我们能做到的就是热爱自己的本职工作,心怀善念,爱己爱人,行善事,积善德,不浪费眼下的光阴,做该做的事,做自己喜欢的事。至于明天和意外,不是你我所能左右。努力做好自己,一切尽可以随缘随喜。
