摘要:The anchorage performance of a new clamping anchor system for CFRP rods was studied by a series of 35 pullout tests. The test parameters included the bonded length, pre-tightening forces and number of clamping bolts, and surface treatment of CFRP rod. Three types of failure modes were observed during test loading, namely fracture, slip and pullout of CFRP rod, respectively. Test results showed that the ultimate load increased as the bonded length increased, whereas the average bond strength decreased. With the increasing of total pretightening forces of clamping bolts, the ultimate load of specimen increased to a peak value and then decreased. A larger number of clamping bolts could enhance the performance of clamping anchor. The initial slip was postponed and the ultimate load increased when the rod was treated with surface grinding in advance. It was indicated that the clamping anchor can achieve satisfactory performance by properly arranging the parameters. The suitable configurations of clamping anchor, the level of pre-tightening forces and their favorable distribution of bolts are proposed based on the test results.
