    Profile

    Wentao Fan received the M.Sc. degree in Information Systems Security and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Quebec, QC, Canada, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology at Huaqiao University, Xiamen, Fujian, China. He is an Affiliate Professor in the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. His research interests include machine learning, data mining, computer vision, and pattern recognition applied to different real-life problems across various domains. He is the author or co-author of more than 100 publications in a variety of prestigious journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Pattern Recognition, IJCAI, SIGIR, ICDM, ICASSP, etc.
