Profile

Litao Yi, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, currently serves in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Engineering, College of Chemical Engineering, Huaqiao University. His primary research focuses on neuropsychopharmacology, immunopharmacology, and nutrition. 


Dr. Yi received his Bachelor of Biological Sciences at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, Minzu University of China, and Biology Ph.D at the School of Life Sciences, Nanjing University. From November 2015 to December 2016, he conducted visiting research at the Robert Dantzer's Laboratory, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas. 


He currently leads one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Project (82474106), one Fujian Provincial Natural Science Foundation Project (2022J01315), and four industry-sponsored research projects. To date, he has published over 70 SCI-indexed research papers as corresponding author, with a total citation count exceeding 3,000 and an H-index of 34. He was selected for the 2025 Top 2% Scientists list globally.
