Dr. Yunmao Zhang is currently a Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Huaqiao University. He is recognized as a High-Level Talent of Fujian Province, a recipient of the Fujian “Eagle Program” for Outstanding Young Talents, and a grantee of the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents.
To date, he has co-authored two academic monographs and published 26 papers in prestigious journals including Nature, Nature Sustainability, National Science Review, Chemical Society Reviews, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, PNAS, and Advanced Materials. He holds 5 authorized patents, has served on the organizing committees of multiple academic conferences, and delivered numerous invited presentations. He leads projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (both Young Scientists Fund and General Program) and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and has participated in several key national and provincial research initiatives.
Our group maintains close collaborative ties with the team of National Distinguished Young Scholar awardees at Xiamen University, jointly recruiting young faculty and postdoctoral researchers, as well as co-supervising master’s and doctoral students. We warmly welcome talented young scholars to join us! Undergraduate students are also encouraged to gain early research experience in our lab, and we invite applications for master’s and doctoral studies (with joint training opportunities in partnership with 985 universities).
