Prof. Hua is a researcher whose research interests mainly include the preparation of organic solvent-resistant composite membranes, the application of nanomaterials in membrane fabrication and modification, water treatment, organic solvent recovery, and others. She has been selected as a high-level introduced talent and high-level talent by Fujian Province (Category B). She has led one national-level scientific research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 provincial-level and 2 city-level scientific research projects. Besides, she has published 23 papers as the first author or corresponding author in several esteemed scientific journals indexed by SCI, such as AIChE Journal (2), Journal of Membrane Science (6), Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Science, Separation and Purification Technology (2), Carbon, Chemical Engineering Journal, etc. She has applied for 9 Chinese invention patents, among which 4 patents have been authorized.
