Abstract:2012年暑期，笔者作为华侨大学派出的15名英语教师之一到英国曼切斯特大学language center进行为期四周的教学观摩和培训。从这次观摩中我感受到我们教学和曼大语言中心上的很大的差异,主要体现在其课程设置,教学方式和评估体系上。通过对这次学习做一个较完整的回顾，可以看到我们在教学环境中是否可以借鉴他们的做法，同时也可对现行的大学英语教学和教改进行有益的探讨。
