Abstract:The conservation planning and administration system of historic area is the base of maintain the urban historic landscape of Shanghai, and a feasible and flexible methodology is the key issue on assessing the conservation plan. Based on the case study on Hengshan-Fuxing historic area, it verifies that the process assessment methodology is practical, reviews the effectiveness and efficiency through the qualitative assessment and quantitative assessment, and gives advices on improvement policies for the conservation planning and administration system.
