Dr. Syed Humayun Basha is an Associate Professor and Postgraduate Mentor at the College of Civil Engineering, Huaqiao University. He is recognized as a C Category high-level talent introduced by Fujian Province. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, India, in May 2009, receiving a Silver Medal. He completed his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Civil (Structural Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, in June 2011 and May 2017, respectively. He has authored over 30 SCI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author and currently leads or participates in multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Fujian Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Huaqiao University's high-level talent introduction program (science and technology). He holds five authorized national invention patents and three utility model patents. His research focuses on earthquake-resistant engineering structures, 3D concrete printing, and structural topology optimization.
